COTTON

The best way to wash 100% cotton is to hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. If you must machine wash then use the delicate cycle and use cold water. Don't use hot water as that will shrink pure cotton.

LINEN

A good quality linen lasts a long time, but in order to ensure they will last for their maximum lifetime it is best to hand wash or machine wash DELICATE on a low temperature (cold or lukewarm) with a mild detergent.

WOOL

You can wash by hand using a wool specific detergent, or you can wash in a machine as long as you only use COLD water and a delicate cycle. Heat will shrink wool so do not wash in hot water and never put it in the dryer. Lay it flat or hang with a bulky hanger to dry

POLYESTER

Set the wash cycle to normal and use a gentle laundry detergent. Because polyester is a synthetic material, high heat can break down the fibres and cause damage to your clothes. As a result, polyester should be washed using warm 30- 40 degrees or cold water. Hang dry, do not tumble dry.

KNIT (TEES, HOODIES, JOGGERS)

You can machine wash it rather than have it dry-cleaned. While jersey does have a tendency to shrink, shrinkage can be avoided by washing in cold water or washing by hand, and air-drying.

LEATHER

Using a soft brush or a lint roller, gently remove any dirt or debris from the surface of the leather. Be sure to pay extra attention to crevices and seams. Clean the leather: Dampen a clean, soft cloth with a mild leather cleaner and gently wipe down the entire surface of the leather

OUR RAW DENIM PRODUCTS

All our raw denim products are naturally dyed to age and wear with the user. As such they require slightly different care to 100% cotton.

They are to be hand washed only using a cold temperature and a mild detergent. Hang dry and store folded.

Due to the nature of the dyeing process, they may incur some dye migration onto lighter garments and shoes. This can be mitigated by handwashing with a vinegar solution to fix the dye or using a dye fixative product. This will drastically slow down the age and wear of the product but its up to preference.
